PASITY is a vendor-neutral Urban Operations OS programme. Smart lighting provides the first reference area, within a broader direction for urban infrastructure. The ambition is to help operations teams work with a coherent view of assets, information and operational context, instead of treating each technical system as an isolated island.

The programme brings system architecture, connected infrastructure and urban intelligence into the same product discussion. Its interface direction gives priority to operational meaning: an alert or a system condition should be understandable before it is decorative. Different roles may need different views, but they should remain connected to a consistent operational picture.

The proposed next step is a smart-lighting demonstration using agreed test data. This offers a focused way to examine the workflow and its information needs before widening the scope. Vendor neutrality is a design objective, not a claim that every device or protocol already works. Real infrastructure connections and field performance require separate validation.
